About Code Camp: Code Camp is a free event where speakers volunteer to present various information technology topics throughout the day. The primary goals of the Association of Future IT Professionals is to provide technical learning opportunities to compliment the theoretical knowledge that FGCU's degree provides, provide opportunities for students to network with potential employers in the community, and to increase FGCU visibility within the IT community so that employers will think of FGCU when looking to fill an open position within their company. Code Camp accomplishes all these goals. Your day will start with signing in at the entrance to AB5. Following opening remarks in Embarq auditorium you will then be able to leave to the rooms in AB3 that will have different IT topics being presented in each room. Depending on an what your interests are you can move from room to room throughout the day to learn about different topics. Around noon everyone will meet up again in AB5 for lunch which will be provided. In the afternoon you will go back to the classrooms in AB3 to listen to speakers. At the end of the day everyone will return to AB5 for closing remarks and prize giveaways.
